Int Ch TruPride’s Rock Star

*** Willcare’s Wellington at Legacy X Int Ch Chambray’s Aggie Pride, CGC ***

For Aggie’s last breeding, we chose a stunning chocolate Labrador in New Hampshire named Wellington, who was bred by Willcare Labradors.  Willcare has been a top breeder of chocolates for the past 35 years.  Wellington has a great pedigree and it complimented Aggie’s bloodlines nicely.  Wellington has an incredibly calm temperament, which is characteristic of the Willcare dogs, and this trait is apparent in his puppies, including Roxy.

Roxy has been an attention-getter from early puppyhood and we knew immediately that her personality would be a perfect fit for our breeding program.  She has a beautiful, dark chocolate coat.  She is 70 lbs and has a lovely Lab head.  She earned her IABCA International Adult Championship.

She loves to retrieve on land or in the water.  She goes for daily swims in “her” pool.  She glides across the water and swims effortlessly.  She is great with kids and other dogs.  Roxy is co-owned by our good friends, the Chamber family, and lives with them in Odessa, FL.

Int Jr Ch TruPride’s Slim Sadie, CGC

We were so happy with the Axle x Aggie puppies in 2011, that we decided to do a repeat breeding in 2012.   Axle has a great pedigree and is a great representation of the Labrador breed as he excels in both the conformation ring and the field.  His even, intelligent disposition is his hallmark, and his classic “have some fun” attitude is endearing.  These are traits he has passed to his puppies, including Sadie. Sadie is smart, eager to learn and ready to take on any challenge she is given. By 9 weeks old she already knew the “sit”, “down” and “come” commands and by 4 months old she had earned her AKC STAR Puppy certificate.  She is an incredibly fast learner and she loves mental stimulation games. She earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate on October 15, 2013 and her IABCA International Junior Championship on October 27, 2013. Sadie loves water, loves to eat, and loves to please.  Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her mom, Aggie, and sister, Penny.   She loves to retrieve, which isn’t a surprise as she comes from a line of accomplished hunting dogs (5 Junior Hunters and 1 Master Hunter in her three generation pedigree below).

She has a rich chocolate coat, great front formation, and nice tight feet.  As you can see in her 8 week side view photo, she shows great balance between front and rear, her front forms a perfect triangle and she has awesome angulation in the rear.  She has a nice reach of neck and good layback of shoulders.

Chambray’s Blues to the Bone at Anaquassacook

For Aggie’s first breeding, we chose a stunning chocolate Labrador in Washington state named Axle. He has a great pedigree and is a great representation of the Labrador breed as he excels in both the conformation dog show ring and the field. His even, intelligent disposition is his hallmark, and his classic “have some fun” attitude is endearing. These are traits he has definitely passed to his puppies, including Etta.

Etta is a very calm, sweet and affectionate dog.  She walks around the house carrying her stuffed animals toys.  She loves retrieving, which shouldn’t come as a surprise since she comes from a line with great retrieving instincts (1 Master Hunter, 3 Junior Hunters and 4 Working Certificates in her three generation pedigree below).

She has a beautiful, rich, dark chocolate coat and incredibly tight feet. She is at the lower end of the height range for females measuring 21.5 inches at the withers and weighs about 65 lbs.

Int Ch Chambray’s Aggie Pride, CGC

Aggie is our beautiful “Dauber daughter”.  Dauber is one of the top producing chocolate Labradors in the country.  He is not only good looking, but he also has his Junior Hunter title and Working Certificate in the field.  He was the perfect dog to breed to sweet Codi for her first litter.  It was a small litter with only two chocolate females, so we are lucky to have our Aggie girl.

Aggie is a great representation of the Labrador breed. She has a wonderful temperament and makes friends with dogs and humans alike. She especially loves kids, even if they pull her ears while she is eating!

Aggie is an incredibly smart and well-behaved dog. She passed her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) exam at only six months old! She excels in obedience and is always the top dog in her obedience classes. She earned her IABCA International Junior Championship in May 2010 and her IABCA International Adult Championship in May 2012. Aggie has a very good work ethic and a strong drive to retrieve. She is happiest when she is swimming and she has never been beat in the water by any other dogs.

Aggie’s conformation is very well-balanced and she moves nicely. She is 22 1/2″ tall at the withers and weighs about 70 pounds. She has a lovely head with attractive eyes and a correct bite. She has a great “otter” tail and her hips were rated the highest rating, “excellent”, by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).

Penny is incredibly affectionate and always wants to be loved.  She loves to snuggle and thinks she is a big lap dog.  She is very outgoing and is ready to accept a belly rub from any human, friends and strangers alike.

Penny is very eager to please and easy to train.  She earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate on August 20, 2013 and her IABCA International Adult Championship on October 27, 2013.

She is super athletic and it is amazing to watch her run as her strides cover so much ground.  She has a very strong drive to retrieve and she could spend all day retrieving her squeaky tennis ball.  This isn’t a surprise as she comes from a line with great retrieving instincts (1 Master Hunter, 3 Junior Hunters and 4 Working Certificates in her three generation pedigree below).

She has a beautiful, rich, dark chocolate topcoat and plenty of dense undercoat. She has a correct head with nicely colored eyes and a good otter tail.  She is at the top of her height range at 23½ inches tall and weighs in at about 72 pounds.  Her hips are excellent, and it doesn’t get any better than that!

Reba is a perfectly mannered house dog who loves to say hello and carry a toy in her mouth at all times.  Her favorite past time is taking rides in our golf cart around the neighborhood.  She loves to stare at the deer but is so well-behaved that she doesn’t chase them.  She is a great retriever and loves to swim as one would expect from a water dog.
